April 6, 2026 - I have worked with Barbara Carpenter on my various cruise vacations. From a Danube river cruise to crossing the Atlantic and this last Antarctica experience - it has all worked out smoothly and simply wonderful. Barb's experience and guidance on choices with cruise lines and insurance gave us the necessary information to make our choices smartly and easily. I continue to sing Barb's expertise and knowledge and look forward to our next trip.

April 4,2026 - Today I got home from the wonderful Barbara Carpenter Quilting cruise.
I have unpacked all my goodies and am ready to start stitching tomorrow.
These are the goodies I brought home. 4 quilt kits, two extra patterns, at least, 3 books, Quiltfolk magazine featuring Barbara, and signed by her, 3 tote bags, a wonderful metal piece that is perfect for folding JN patterns for trimming, a pin cushion, lots of extra fabric, and lots of project bags!
Our main project, the Cosmic Fireworks, was already cut and bagged and labeled. That saved us soooo much time. We got a binder with all the pages in page savers. It will be easy, ha ha, to stay organized.
I am already looking forward to cruising with her again next September, to Alaska!!

August 11, 2025 - My friend Kris mentioned a quilting cruise to Alaska....mentioned it to Joe and he was ALL IN! Two things Joe loves, cruises and Alaska! Almost every day was perfect weather and just a little rainy one day. The quilting part with Barbara Carpenter was amazing! She puts on a great quilting cruise and this won't be my last.
